Dorian 2Dorian felt the flows of Spirit, Air and Earth intensify as the small procession entered what appeared to be another long and featureless corridor and did not need the words of the initiates to inform him that they were approaching the chambers of the monastery’s Father.
The dance of the flows spoke of a strong magus that had worked with the elements a long time and one that they seemed eager to serve. This was merely part of the formalities of meeting with any of the great magi. Hopefully he doesn’t hold to all the old formalities or it could be days before we are done. And there is not time. Dorian 1Dorian’s steps landed softly in a counter-rhythm to the initiates’ methodic pattern as he followed the endlessly patient monks through the dimly lit corridors of the enclave. The monk in front wore the traditional bald head, simple blue robe and rope sandals of initiates in the order. The stylized eye inked on the back of his head was the work of his cairth. He hadn’t turned to examine the initiate’s life-long assigned companion, but there was no doubt that he too bore the unblinking third eye staring eternally behind trying to pierce through both time and space to gather everything that had gone before. Highland Cemetery

I was looking over the photos I submitted last week and noticed something odd - most of them lack much if any variation in color.

Sadness. So today I set out to a nearby cemetery with the hope of getting more colors. I think I did better, but not by much, lol. I also have been playing around more with paint.NET and discovering all kinds of ways to mess up a mediocre photo. The folder "Lion Study" is all one photo (a statue of a lion) altered with paint.net in a handful of ways. The lion was originally white so he already had the black and white thing going on. I have submitted only three of the shots from the cemetery and have a few more to work with (out of 156 taken >.< ) before they might show up. Still looking for any advice, critisism and/or pointers
